I have a QT process I stick to which includes TTM for all new fish along with two treatments of prazipro followed by 2-4 weeks in a stand alone QT tank for observation. With his process I have yet to lose a fish or tank to disease. (I have added screens for the jumpers I have lost).
My question is I do not do any treatment for brook or velvet as I do not think prazipro covers that. My next purchases is 2 clowns. Is my above QT process good enough or should I change it up based on clowns having typically different disease issues as opposed to other fish.
Do you QT differently / precautionary treatment based on fish type?
Thank you for any input,
