QT Question

So let's say that you have a tank with mostly fish, a few corals, and some inverts. Does it make more sense to move the corals and inverts (way easier to catch) to a QT tank and then hypo the main tank?

Besides probably diminishing the pod population, would this cause any problems? It just seems like it would be so much easier than trying to catch fish by removing hundreds of pounds of LR.

Ok the boys are going to be moved this weekend into QT. This is going to be real fun trying to catch all of them. :D

The one question that I have is how do I maintain the pH of the QT? I have read alot that the pH tends to drop. What is the safest and effective way to do this?

I will keep you posted on the status of the move.

Thanks,
John

Well the roundup of da fish started 5 days ago. I built a pretty effective fish trap and have all but 4 fish in the QT. I'll post some pitctures of the trap in action. All of the fish are in a 55 and are looking good other than the few spots of ick. Everyone is eating like pigs.
