qt question

hi every one i had a ich outbreak and another disease not sure which one that wiped out most of my fish and left me with 4 fishes i have a 150 mixed reef and was wondering all my fish are in qt right know just started i plan on keeping them in there for 2 months. i am going to be medicating it so i bought another bio wheel so once done i can throw the one in qt out can i put the new one in my tank so when i plan on getting new fish and qt them i have one seeded already
