Hello,

I have finished moving and getting my fish back from the lfs tomorrow. They have spent the last month at the lfs ... And now have ich ...

The larger fish are a6" Achilles, 6" purple tang, 3" hybrid angel.

I have a 65 g ready for tomorrow, which should be fine. But for the tank transfer method I only have 20 gallon tanks ... Can the Achilles be kept in the 20 g for 3 days ? I'll set up another 20 for the purple and angel.
don't want to use copper ... I don't seem to have much luck with it.

Q2. Planning on adding 2 yellow tangs as well. Should I get them and qt them all together .?!

Let me know your opinions pls ... TIA.

The 20 gals should be fine for your purposes. Just have a bottle of Amquel or other ammonia reducer handy. And have at least one powerhead in each tank, pointing towards the surface, for max oxygenation. Achilles in particular need more O2 than most fish.

QT them separately from the fish w/Ich. No need to introduce the YTs to an unwanted parasite. What size DT are all these tangs ultimately going in?

thank you.

decided to lower salinity and keep them in hypo for some time ...
currently at 1.011 .. will lower it tonight to the magic numbers.

they are hopefully going back to the home they grew up in, my 200.
