QT - Size

I have a 20G long QT. I have some new fish in there now but just notice that I might have an outbreak in my DT. I am wondering whether my QT might be too small to house the following:

1 small yellow tang
1 small kole tang
1 exq wrasse
5 chromis
1 pink bar goby

thoughts?

that will be overstocked. especially if it is long term (2+weeks)

It's doable, as long as you keep up on water quality, and have a good sized, cycled/seeded HOB filter.

Get a ammonia badge and have some ammonia detoxifier on hand ready to go. Water changes will help but you may still have lingering ammonia

i have WAY less experience then these guys and would listen to them.
however i have noticed that when i over stock a qt (after a few weeks) aggression starts.

This is true in my experience as well. As fish get "comfortable" over time in QT their natural behavior tends to come out. Lots of PVC and other decor can help disrupt this behavior....
