QT tank and update

I am asking for some help. I have a 20 gal. and a 15 gal. and a return pump that I can use to set up a QT tank but I don't have any more powerheads or anything else. I was hoping someone might have a old working powerhead or anything else I might need to set this up. This all started after the maroons gave my 29 gal. ich, I got the reef safe ich treatment and started that. The maroons died the day after I got them (yes I know I need to QT them first, lesson learned) so I replaced them with a pair of black saddleback clowns. The clowns have already gone through a cycle of ich, and personally I am contacting the company that makes the reef safe ick-ich because it doesn't work at all. I have been feeding with garlic, and raised the tank temp. and have just been topping off with RO to lower the salinity a bit. But now I think that the only way to get rid of it is it QT all the fish and let the tank run course.
On the other side of things my female saddleback has taken to hosting in the waving hand. We have a small BTA in the tank but its not big enough to host in, so I will be working on getting them a bigger one.

ok so morning update. the female saddleback is looking really bad, she is breathing heavily and has a white coating on her body. She is also just sitting on the bottom of the tank. I know that I need to get her in a QT and medicated if I want to save her but what do I want to medicate with?

* new update

Did a freshwater dip on the female and she is dead now.
The male looks better than the female did though. He is still swimming around and isn't breathing heavy. I am trying to set up a QT tank, I might have to take one of the powerheads out of the 29 gal. until I get another one. I have a tank and I can take some water out of the 2- 24 gal. pods, so that its established water. I just need a powerhead and some pvc pipe for it.

Jessica got them at pet palace, the pair I got was a replacement pair for the maroons that died in 1 day. The maroons gave my tank ich, and now the saddlebacks have it. I think that the female got something else too though. She had a coat on her like you see in the pictures for brook and velvet.

I have been topping off the tank with just RO everyday. I will check all levels and post in the morning.

All the other fish look fine, and John doesn't think that ich is what is wrong with the tank because our cromis and tang have never had any problems. I have been working with the temp., salinity, garlic and will be keeping an eye on them.

I wouldn't raise the temp any. In FW it is a good idea but not in SW. It can lower the O2 levels and if the fish are already having a hard time breathing.... It doesn't really speed the cycle of Ick in SW like FW and you wouldn't want to speed the cycle up unless there is medication in the water to kill the parasite like copper or Hyposalinity. (1.009 for death of Ick)

I agre the second death sounds like more than just ick. Clowns are notoriouse for brook which you mentioned. A FW dip will help with velvet but copper is the only cure. Also just old water will not be enouph as bio for a QT you will still have a cycle unless you have a sponge or something already seeded with bacteria. Lots of water changes to keep the QT from going into a cycle is what you will have to do if you do not have instant bio. Good luck! I hate diseases!

well the tank seems fine right now. I have had the skimmer off while using the kick-ich in there (what the packaging said to do). I am turning it back on today though. The other clown is still fine so I think that the female must of just got something.
