QT Tank

What's a good size for a QT tank? I lost my first fish to Ich a week ago, and I'm about to lose my second in the next couple days. Largest fish that would ever be in it is probably a blue tang. It's time to fix years of ignorance, what size should I start up this weekend?

Also, my plan was to use an Eheim 2227 wet/dry I have left over from my FOWLR days for filtration. Any pros / cons to doing that?

Not an expert, but I use a 29 gallon tank. It works well for me.

not to sure but ive been told to use a 20/30 g.
