qt water changes

Since there isn't any biological filtration in a quarantine tank, i'm guessing that water changes need to be performed more often. How often and how much does everyone change out on their QTs.

I think it really depends on the size of your QT and the fish load. For my 10 gal QT, I do a 2.5 gal water change every two or three days.

You should have some biological filter like a sponge filter or something similar in your QT. But I agree you should typically do more water changes with your QT.
