QTing Femininus wrasse

Hi guys. I would like some advice on QTing a femininus wrasse. I use TTM and PP for active treatments. Then I leave it for 2 weeks to monitor. The tanks are not cycled.

I'm a bit nervous about femininus wrasse. I heard they are delicate like leopard wrasse?

should I add a tubeware of sand? how tall should the sandbed be? live sand or dry sand? The sand will only be in the water for 3 days.

or can I put cloth or something soft on the bottom of tank to prevent it from damaging its mouth burying?

thanks!

You could put a plastic container, 2" or so deep, filled with sand (doesn't have to be live sand) in the tank but do not transfer it to the next tank when doing TT. When it goes in to the qt set up another container of sand, live or not is up to you.

This worked well when QTing my Leopards.
