Keep magnets 9" apart!
I'm thinking of getting back in the hobby after 15 years. I'm a firm believer of supporting the LFS as long as the personel are knowledgeable and cary a wide range of items. Price thats not out of this world helps a bit too :)

So where should I go? I hear good things about the shop in Lake in the Hills but thats 90 minutes away from me. I was hoping for something withing a 30 minute drive.

Thanks for your time :)

try Aquatica in Tinley Park, on Oak Park Ave and 67th, and Go Fish Aquatics in Orland Park on 144th and John Humphrey Drive.

I like both of these stores

Heh I work on 63rd street. Score :)

I passed Aquatica the other day. I didn't know abou the one near the mall on Humphry drive. I'll check that one out too.

Thanks. :)

I live in Orland Park and Ride to Rods Reef in Dekalb so if you ever want to take a road trip oyu can ride with me
Chicago Aquatic is my favorite in my area its part of the Reptile House if you know where that is

whiirly, I may have to take you up on that offer of a ride-along to Rod's. I've never been there, but since meeting him at IMAC, I've been itching to go. Not sure when I would be able to go (and have money to spend), but gimme a PM next time you decide to roll up there.

It will be in about a month as I was there Monday but if you deciede to go earlier I may take the ride as well

I am moving back out to Homer Glen pretty soon so we will all have to get together sometime.
