Quality Tank Stands

Hey All,

Anyone know where I can find good quality tank stands?

The one I have now for my 90gal has seen better days. Ideally it would be from somewhere fairly local, but let me know what you've seen!

I saw one at Aquapros that I would love. I don't know the brand off the top of ma head, but ask Dave about it. It's the black one with the side panel that opens so you can do maintenance or slide a sump in. Very cool looking stand.

IMO, DIY. Search for posts by 'rocketengineer' for the plans. Should be a fun project. I have a brand new stand/canopy for a 125, but not a 90.

I considered DIY, but I'm a realist....and I know it won't come out as nice as it will need to be. The tank is in full on view in the Kitchen/Dinette/Family room, so it has to be nice.

I'm sure that i could build up a stand that would hold the tank up...but the finish/trim/details would suffer.

The stand for my 90G was built by Matt at Shotank. He does great work.

I've done 2 DIY stand that came out awesome. Used 3/4" and 1/2" MDF and a bunch of 2X4's. One for a 75gal and one for a 55gal. It wasnt that hard and it only took me about 2 days to build each of them but I do have some carpentry experience so that may have been a help.
