Quaranteen Question #2

Is there a need to medication treat ORA tank bred fish in a QT or is a number of weeks of observation ok.... Seems like they should be disease free?

Thanks to all

I only medicate when after review, there appears to be a reason.
Otherwise that would be like going to the doctor, he finds nothing wrong with you, but gives you a bunch of meds just in case.
If your going to medicate, be specific, you know what you have and you have the right meds to fix it....otherwise just keep them in 1.017-1.020 salinity during there observation period....I do this for any fish regardless of origin....

I NEVER medicate prophylactically. I just observe my fish carefully and closely each day while in quarantine. I observe BEHAVIOR as well as physical signs. I act ONLY when I see symptoms.
