Quarantine question...

My new tank is in my office. My question is, can I set up a quarantine at home and once the 4-6 weeks is up, transfer the fish to my office? It would only be a ten minute car ride. Thanks.

You bet ... just acclimate the fish to the new tank like you were bring him home from the LFS.

Thanks. My choices would be either a quarantine tank at home or one underneath my desk, but I think I'm too clumsy to have one under my desk.

I know people say 10 gallon is the smallest, but could I get away with a 5 gallon for smaller fish?

I don't recommend using anything smaller than a 10 gallon tank .. only costs 10 bucks at any Petco/Petsmart.
