Quarantining Kole Tang

I am getting a kole tang for my 75G tank. I am going to be quarantining it in a 10G tank. Im not going to do any treatments like hypo unless it shows signs of ich. I am a little worried about putting the tang in a 10G tank for an extended amount of time. Could the confined space of a 10G cause too much stress? How long should I keep it in there if it shows no signs of illness?

A larger Qtank would be better, maybe a Rubbermaid container. If your Qtank is cycled and you provide PVC pipe for hiding places it will reduce the stress greatly.

I do have some PVC pipe and fittings that I'll be putting in the tank. Unfortunatley a larger QT tank is not an option right now.

Any ideas on how long I should keep it in QT assuming there are no signs of illness?

3 weeks seems to be the norm.
