Quarintine Tank

hey guys I am going to look at a tank tonight to set up my first marine tank, however the past 6 months the owner has been using it as a quarantine tank, is it safe to set up a marine tank in this?

The tank itself is safe to use, just clean it out very thoroughly. Don't use any rocks or sand that may have been in it.

+1 Wipe the insides of the tank and any associated equipment down thoroughly with vinegar. Rinse thoroughly, and then let it air dry for a few days for good measure. :thumbsup:

Any rock/sand that was in this tank must be considered contaminated. Whether it be by disease or the meds he used in QT.
