Quarintine time length

Had a ich outbreak last week by introducing a fish without quarantining it.. I know I know.. slap on the wrist for me.. i will be quarantining for now on after this mess.. had to take all the rock work down, but i will say i do like it better now that its changed lol not that I wanted this to happen. How long should I keep them in the QT for? I was planning 3-4 weeks for the QT which would leave the display completely empty. Ive been keeping both DT and QT around 82 degrees and the QT with a salinity of 1.012

6 weeks at the most.

I believe the salinity needs to be 1.009 for 6 weeks.

If you are treating with hypsalinity gypsana is correct. If you are treating my leaving it fallow with no fish, the 99% solution time is 11 weeks, less with raised temperature.
