Queen angel hates fairy wrasses. Is that common?

Too bad they are my favorite angel. My previous one was a mellow one, but this Belize juvi or subadult isn't playing so nicely. I'm planning to add a gold flake and a scribbled angel. The GF is a little larger and the scribbled is 7". Hope the queen angel doesn't freak out.

she looks pretty mature color wise...make sure you have a plan b...a scribbled that size could be a huge pita...

Queen can be nasty. My best advice is to add more than one fish at a time. Queens are best added last.

Yeah. The addict in me pulled the trigger. Will move all the rocks around and add a few fish in a the same time, but not gonna try a reef safe wrasse again.
I can't say much I have broken rules before!

Fairy wrasses are very delicate singly. I have 5 of them in my 125 they all survived and thrived much quicker when added at nearly the same time. With more established wrasses, they thrive.

Sigh..., I wish I can catch the existing exquisite and do what you just suggested. May take the chance when I rearrange the rocks and hope it won't strain my back too much.

Yeah. Mix fairy wrasses. I have a mccoskers flasher, exquisite (Maldives), Scotts (cook islands), lubbocks, and male solar wrasse.
Also have a red lined/striped christmas, lime, yellow coris, Vroliks male, and leopard wrasse In there also. At times they all school together. My point in mentioning that is that I doubt the angel will be able to decipher. The fairy wrasses will likely hang together though. Of my fairies, the only one that only occasionally hangs with the group is the Scotts. The others stick together largely in a large mass.
The leopard wrasse beats to her own drum she doesn't care about the school.
Sometimes my 4 red firefish and 1 purple firefish and purple pseudochromis will join in. It's a very long, thin fish tank! Haha

Yeah the Scotts is hiding in the video. This video has all three of my tanks, 50 seconds devoted to each. The middle tank is the "wrasse tank".

Nice collection of fish. Guess that MBA really paid off. Love the rose tip anemone's. Is the Achilles the king of the tank? How big is the wrasse tank? Nice rock work on the angel tank. You have a passer and queen in the same tank? Nice background sound by the way. It brings back memories.

Thanks. The achilles is the biggest sissy of the tank. The purple is king. Then the sailfin. Powder blue and yellow in the middle. The wrasse tank is a 125. The wrasse are pretty small. I have a passer, Queen and emperor in the same tank. He was getting cleaned in the back of the tank in the middle in the third video. Thanks I made the rock work with caves for the Angels because I know they enjoy them. The Angels get along great. Again though I don't have just two, I have three. All added within one week of each other. The passer is the king of that tank.
