Question about algae/coralline algae

So I've recently started my tank 4 months ago, starting with old dried out live rock and seeding the tank with some coralline-laden live rock from my LFS. The parameters are all good right now, with the calcium the only thing that has been consistently high (around 520 ppm). About a month ago this green algae took hold in my tank shortly following a diatom die-off and it has been here ever since. It does not wipe off with my finger and it adheres to the glass extremely well. I am hoping its green coralline, but I'm not so sure. Can someone help shed some light on what it could be and how I can jumpstart the purple coralline growth?

Yeah, this green that your seeing is just a prelude to the purple coralline algae we all love so bad. As long as your parameters are within reason the purple will come in time. GL.

Yup. I went through the same thing at about four months. My rocks and any glass I don't scrape is covered with purple coraline.

It drove me crazy too until i realized it was the initial stages of coralline algae. Based on the seeding you have now...you will have coralline out your ears before you know it
