added an colored angler wend. of last week fish store said to feed it freezed dryed shrimp but all he does is spit it back out. called the store on sat. and the guy said to try live guppies is this all right this is my first angler and i've been looking for more info on them but am not having much luck. can anyone give me some pointers thanks (O) this tank has been up and running for 2 and a 1/2 months water is fine. 30 gal. tank mates are 1 brittle star fish and a v. lion fish thats and a couple of snails. thanks mike

ghost shrimp work well for finicky anglers

ghost shrimp and quarantined goldfish work great til you get him eating readily, then i woudl try the silversides on a wigglestick.

I remember when I first bought my first anglerfish and started him on frozen silverside that very day. he didn't hesitate on eating. just rinse it with water and put it on a feeding stick then place right by his mouth, he'll eat it.
