Question about birdsnest growth

Hey! I am gonna make this short and sweet and then if more info is needed on tank ill give the full rundown. Basically i was given this frag of birdsnest from my lfs because ive never kept sps and wanted to make sure they would do well in my tank. Ive had it for about 2.5 weeks. It's tips are white. Is this growth or death? Looks to me like its getting bigger but i could be mistaken. Attaching pic. Thanks for your time.

Thanks! I felt like i had all my conditions right for sps, but i kinda freaked when i seen the white tips and did a google search.

+1 new growth... Add some amino and have potassium at 400 and that baby will turn pink in no time

Also good random flow/correct lighting will help it stay more uniform in growth and not turn into a sideways mess.
