question about bonding fish

I originally purchased a bonded pair of clowns, but one didn't survive shipping. I got my replacement and added him in my tank yesterday. The two coexist, but the larger one (survivor of first order) tends to be quite dominant at times. This morning the new smaller clown looks to have some fin damage. Again, they don't constantly fight, the larger one will just randomly dart at the little one. Could they still bond? Is the larger one claiming is place as the dominant one?

Yes they are bonding right now, becuase clownfish change gender( the biggest one will become a female, the smallest will be male) right now you're female, the big one is telling the other one that he better stay male. They will become a mated pair.

Oh good, already she doesn't seem to chase him as much. Will hours fin heal? Looks like she nipped at him a bit, he uses that fin but not as much as his other.
