Question about Brown Leather

I've had a brown leather for about 9 months. I placed the coral in the center of the tank supported by a rock structure. It used to be upright in the tank and the polyps would appear shortly after the MH lights came on in the morning. I have a Blueline and Ushio MH 10K.

Recently, the coral has been lying on the rocks and the polyps hardly appear. I thought it was a water quality issue, since that's the only change in the last couple months. I noticed a section of the leather has started bleaching. The water parameters seem to be within normal range.

Please help me get my coral back...

Do you think it's bleaching from too much light?

It's been under the same lighting for a while now. Just recently it has started "bleaching".
