Question about clowns and +

I currently have 5 blue chromis, a blue damsel, yellow tang, a 8 year old Gold-Stripe and a tank raised ocellaris clown fish. Just last week I added the ocellaris to see if the gold stripe will attack it, it hasn't so I have been thinking about adding some more of them along with some other type of tank raised clown fish in hopes of them getting along. What do you guys think about this?

I have a 120 gallon tank btw.

Thanks!

I wouldn't try your luck. My friend has an percula pair and he got a different type from a friend which was not in good shape. It got better and gets along with the other clowns fine.

From what I hear this is rare. You shouldn't risk adding as many different types of clowns as you sound like you are interested in. If that one gets along with your other clowns, that's great. But don't try it again. These guys are very competitive and will kill eachother in nature. Please don't subject a poor clown to needlessly being killed like that.

BTW I'm not mad if that's what my tone sounds like. I'm just concerned and just am honest about how I feel. I hate to hear/see a fish suffer.

I have ALOT of rock and caves for them to hide, the ocellaris never had a problem with my HUGE gold stripe, neither the gold stripe with my clown, I wanted to add 3 more of the occellaris, tank raised of course as they are less prone to aggression to other clownfish. I was thinking about other types of clown fish, but I don't want to push my luck that far... I am very fond of clownfish and would love to have a variety, but I realize the reality of this situation... Thanks for your response Teremei

No prob. I'm sure someone else can chime in. I love Clowns too, that's why I decided just to love my occelaris pair. I asked about adding more clowns in my 125 before and I got the same kind of response. Not to try it.
