Question about Corraline Algae

I had the same effects from just feeding my fish and spot feeding larger mouthed critters with mysis, but hey, to each their own. :)

I had the same effects from just feeding my fish and spot feeding larger mouthed critters with mysis. I personally think adding "liquid" invert food that indiscriminately feeds your corals, everyday no less, is a recipe for algae growth and poor water quality eventually. But hey, to each their own. :)

Not this stuff, I have just about zero algae growth when using the Seachem. I judge this by how often I have to use my magnet hahah..

I would recommend the Plus highly.. You will see a difference with your soft corals, esp your zoos.. IMHO. Mine basically came back from the DEAD. I figured they were gone.. but now they are fully open and seem to be making a great comback, which im very happy about

When feeding the fish I literally BLOW the liquid vitamins that are with the food OVER the RICS, and the other softies..including the Zoos

I see algae only when I add the liquid life and other pyhto planktons coral liquid foods, now I only add them every once and awhile now, but I give the vitamins daily.

If you read the details on the reef plus it pretty much sums up why you need to add aminos and vitamins.. Especially if you skimm hard like I do. I like to feed my fish, and my skimmer does a great job taking excess nutrients out of the volume, only problem is it can also take out the good stuff :)
