Question about Dartfish

So looking at the Dartfish profiles on liveaquaria and all of them say that they will fight with their own species unless they are a bonded pair. I then go to DiversDen to see a trio of dartfish being sold. What gives?

Firefish, the genus Nemateleotris, will fight with their own species, unless bonded. Ptereleotris, most other commonly offered dartfish, are social and do well in groups, prs, or sungly.

I have found that dartfish while kept singly will (generally) be more shy than a group. I'd try to keep two or three together if possible.

They may get along as a trio if it is one male and two females. But in general they are best kept in pairs.

I'm not sure if they are capable of sex change. What I know for sure is that they will fight if you put two males together.

I wonder if they have already been bred in captivity...
