So you probably know I'm obsessed with my frogspawn bc all my posts anyway I've has the coral for about 1 and 1/2 months in my tank it still only has one head my parameters are good calcium is 420 temp is 78 nitrates r 0 phosphates r less than 1i target feed about 1-2 times a week and the coral is in my biocube 29 wih stock lighting but the coral is in the upper lever of the tank my question is can someone give me a possible estimate of when to expect budding or a split?

Time. Lots of time. I have a few colonies which have split 3-4 times in the past 2 months. I have a colony which has yet to split in the past 6 months. It all depends on how well the coral is taking to your tank ...params. Lighting , Feeding , Ect.
Some Have thick branching stalks,,And some are much thiner.
It seems as my thick stalked Euphyllias do not split as often as the thin stalked ones. This is just what I have noticed with my colonies.

Unfortunately nobody can really tell you when corals are ready to split off or not, it's a tough question to answer. I've had a frogspawn for about 3-4 months and it's definitely grown, but still a single head.

So my estimate for them is....whenever they are ready :)

Just hang in their and one day you will notice growth, my frogspawn has grown from 1 head to a fist size in 4 years. Make sure you secure it to your rock so it does not get damaged from falling into sand. I lost quite a few corals this way. Now I securely glue my corals before they have a chance to get knocked over into another coral or damaged from being facedown in the sand.
