Question about fish going into DT

Ok so I made a post a while back about losing my fish to ick. I have let my 180g sit for roughly 10 weeks fish free. Is that long enough? Also, I have a biocube with a midnight lightning pair along with a pair of banghaii's. Since they have been in the biocube for a year or so with no signs of any problems, would that be like a qtine which I could now put in my DT? TIA!

After going through 10 weeks fallow I would take every precaution. Chances are they are fine but some fish can deal with ich better then others . Ich can be presetntb& some fish show no symptoms.

From the sound of it they are probably ok, but I would do TTM before putting them in the dt so I was 100% sure.

I sounds like your 180gal is safe and the fish in the biocube look good I personally would put them in my display watch them for 2 weeks then get some more fish. Always do QT tho on those new fish for best results. Lsufan is correct too BTW I have never experienced it but I use my Hippo Tang as my tell who started with ich and after some QT med time never had it again.

Isn't TTM really stressful on the fish? Would cuprimine or low salinity be less stressful on them? Also how long should I do TTM or one of the others?

Ty for replies!
