question about ligths

so i got two 250's over my tank they are xm's 20k the crazy thing is that one looks like a 14 or 15k its crazy i think its cause one of the ballast are older but still the same kind as the other just older, could this mean that the ballast is going to go out soon?

You could switch the lightbulbs and see if get the same result. Then you can tell if its the bulb or the ballast

yeah thats the funny thing when i first set them up the bulb was in the new ballast and would not fire up but in the older one it will come right up not sure why?
