Question about Maroon Clowns

Figured I'd ask the experts....I successfully kept a mated pair of True Percula clowns for 3 years, and sold them to an lfs when we had to tear down our tank do to a relocation. I have set-up the tank once again (finally). This is a 75G reef w/100 lbs of fiji live rock. I had always assumed that I would get another mated pair of true Perculas, but am also considering a mated pair of White striped Maroons. I like the red color vs. the maroon and they seem to have that over the yellow striped maroon.

I'm wondering what size they grow to, and also how they'll fair without an anenome. I may get one, but it would be another 6 months or so. (I wouldn't put an anenome in a tank less than a year old). What anenome would be best for them? Any other clowns I should consider that regular members of this forum are partial to?

Thanks

75 gallons should be plenty for a pair of Maroons. As far as anemones I would say bubbletip. The only thing about maroons is that they dont pair as well as percs do. The female is pretty stubborn and she will have an attitude. Not always the best community fish.
