Question about moving a big tank

I am wanting to put a 72" long x 30" wide by 24" tall glass tank into my basement. However, the door to the basement is only 28" wide. Would it be too stressful to the tank to lay it on its front, to get it to fit through the doorway? Or am I going to have to go with a more narrow tank?

I would say no problem as long as it is eurobraced. I laid my 390 on its back to spray foam on the back glass.

If you can lay it on the back panel, not the front -- incase you accidently scratch the surface. That way it will be out of sight

Thanks for the replies. I'm planning on having an external overflow on the back, so I'd have to lay on the front. I'll make sure when I do to put something underneath to prevent scratching.

not cnc machining. the software system i used to administer labled the admins as cnc admins (in this case, cnc stood for configuarable network computing).
