Question about my 6045

Well I messed up the other day and dropped my 6045 and the impeller came shooting out. The white plastic pad on the bottom came off as well as the small washer in the impeller well. I glued the white pad back on but I am having problems with the small washer staying on the peg in the well. What do I do if anything to fix this.

Yeah it looks like the shaft broke down in the well after all. I looked on Tunze's website at the motor block and noticed the shaft was supposed to be in there instead of on the prop. So it would look like it's a total loss on the motor block at least.

If you send it in, I will get you a new one at a substantial discount, just include this post and your phone number and return address-

In this case, send the whole pump with holder, but be sure to put a piece of cardboard between the two mag holder pieces.

I actually just placed an order the other day for the new magnet and holder as those broke for my 6025 about a month ago and I was using the holder from the 6045 for the 6025.

OK, well, just send the pump but include the propeller housing, at the least the whole pump will usually need to be replaced, I just wanted to check if the clamp and magnet was OK since we are changing the rest.

Thanks I appreciate your quick response and the offer for replacement at a discount. All my friends have told me about Tunze's excellent customer service, this is my first time needing it and your reputation is well deserved.

I was also wondering if when i'm sending the 6045 back you could check out my old 6100 driver module , I think this unit is bad the alarm went off and has never worked after that. I don't know if you would have a way to check it .

Short of obvious broken connectors there is very little that can be done to repair these old drivers, they usually went up in a chain reaction where so many parts fail that it is not worth repairing them.

Thanks Roger I just recieved my 6045 back today and I appreciate the level of service and speedy return. Roger and Tunze ROCKS. Thanks again.
