Question about my Cyneria

ok so I have had this coral for over a year now, I had one problem before with apitasia around it that I took care of. Today it looks like it is split. It might be me over reacting, but let me know what you think about the pics below. Thanks!

I have no idea how lps split ,replicate ect.. but wouldnt it have to have something to move itself onto to split? If this is the case.

Is that split where you had the aiptasia? Did you get any kalk or Joe's Juice on that spot?

I've seen that happen on a cynarina that got stung by a yuma. The tissue dies away and heals with a notch at that spot. It can grow back out if it's only slightly damaged.

I agree with Johnski, looks like there are two mouths, possible split?

their mouths can pucker. thats a wrinkle.

plus their mouths would split. another wouldn't just appear above/below it.

Definately something to ponder,wait and see. I find it very coincidental that the split is happening lined up perfectly with the mouth. Never have seen one split before so I dont know the process or how long it would take to find out, but not knowing this is my guess!
