Question about quarantining

I am new to the hobby and have done a bit of research but still have a lot to learn. I recently purchased my first coral and found aiptasia on the base rock the next day which I have since removed. This is in quarantine. I have not been able to find a definitive answer to this question so there may not be one. So I would like to do a poll to see what consensus their is.

If you were quarantining coral that you knew was from a tank that had aiptasia or that you considered highly suspect to having been exposed to aiptasia how long would you quarantine for before adding it to your display tank?

Did you use a dip like Coral RX Pro?

Yes I dipped with iodine and coral rx but from what I understand neither help with aiptasia

I would go 3 full weeks, 4 better, without see the pest before I put it in my tank.

Most coral dips attack the central nervous system. The corals, being coelenterates, only have a pretty crude set of neural connections. They don't have a CNS to fry. Most corals pests have a CNS being flat worms, red bugs (Arthropoda), or nematodes. But aiptasia is an anemone and it is a coelenterate. So a dip should not affect it. I suppose removing the plug or cleaning it with a brush would remove any hitch hiking aiptasia.
