Question about RO/DI unit

I don't know how it can be bad, there isn't much to those filters. The price looks to good to be true though. I say get it and see what happens, thats what i would do

The price is right. It's hard to tell from the picture what the 6 stages are. Looks like a 4 stage with 2 other small cylinders. I'm sure they do something.

edit: Does it come with the filters and DI resin for that price? You may want to check on that. If it dosen't, the filters and DI resin were $55 for my 4 stage RO/DI from the filter guys.

I go with something a little higher end. It is unlikely that membrane will get a very high rejection rate. Then you will be relying more on the tiny DI chamber to pick up the slack. I would look for something with a Dow filmetc membrane and a full size DI canister.

It is a very low quality Chinese knockoff that uses low quality filters and a no name membrane. Mediocre for drinking water at best and definitely nowhere near reef quality.
