Question about Selcon.

I wasn't sure where to post this so I thought I'd just post it here since it gets quite a bit of views and maybe it'll help someone else out too. I have ordered a couple bottles of selcon vitamins since our lfs's here doesn't carry it and was wonder what kind of shelf life does it have? Also for the ones who uses it, does it need to be kept refrigerated?

Don't know shelf life, I never refrigerate mine. I go through a bottle in about 2mo. or so. I get mine at my LFS, so I just get one at a time. Zoe from Kent is a good vitamin supplement also, will keep for long periods without going bad.

Selcon is really HUFA vs vitamins ... once opened it s/b refrigerated. A little goes a long way .. takes me well over a yr to go through one bottle.

Thanks for the replies. I had emailed the distributor about the shelf life and they said it had about a nine month shelf life on it from date of purchase. Since one never knows exactly when a certain bottle is goint to be purchased, I'm assuming that means about nine months after the bottle is opened. They didn't say anything about whether it needed to be refrigerated or not.
