question about silicone

the silicone in my fuge/sump has turned yellow and i was wondering if it is something i need to be concerned about. the type of silicone i used was CRL 33s. i have not noticed any changes in the live stock since i have added the sump but i am still curious.

The same thing has happened in my DIY sump. I haven't noticed any negative affects on my tank.

looking at the spec sheet that silicone has anti mildew agent in it which is something you deff. don't want in your tank. you want 100% pure silicone

what type of silicone should i use? and what negative effects could this yellow silicone have on my tank?

CRL33 look safe the mildew resistant is CRL33-WR
