Question about stocking 180

Just moved from a 90 to 180 G. Over 200 lb live rock and sand, 55 gallon sump with skimmer rated for over 250 gallons. Currently have 2 blue/green chromis, 2 clowns, 1 6 line wrasse, and 1 lawnmower blenny.

Really wanting to add a couple anthias (not sure what kind), a shrimp/goby combo, and the wife wants at least a hippo and yellow tang...it has only been a week since the move but all my param's are in check.

How long should I wait to get these fish and will this be too much? Is there a certain order to add them or do you think all together would be better?

too much. . . . .no, I would consider that a fairly lite load. the question is how much of the rock was existing (therefore colonized with nitrifying bacteria) and how much is new rock and if it was live or dry. same with the sand, all new, mixed in with the old, all old? if most of its new, then I would let the tank settle for at least a month, then add fish a couple at a time letting the system rebalance after each addition. don't forget to quarantine.

Well there was only about 50 lbs of dead dry rock and 150 lbs transferred from my 90 Gallon after a 2 month cycle. The live sand is all 100% new (went thru the cycle as well)

When in doubt use the word "quarantine" to guide you. It is based on the Italian word for 40. During the days of the Black Death in Europe, the city elders of Venice learned that fresh waves of the plague arrived with new ships coming into port. They would force inbound ships to wait outside the harbour for 40 days before allowing them to land.

You could buy your new fish now and put them in a quarantine tank so that after a minimum of 40 days you will know it's safe to add them to your display tank.
