Question about the nanostreams magnets

The magnets that I use for my 6200s are nice because once the two halves are connected, you can slide the outer half of the magnet on the outside of the tank and thereby position the inside part without needing to put your hands in the tank. Can the Tunze nanostream magnets do the same thing? Will the magnets slip off, or will they stay together?

It is best to not move the pumps like this as you risk scratching the glass. The nanos probably won't move so well as the magnets have a stronger rubber that grabs the glass.
