What size is good to bring to the swap for monti caps?
How many zoo polyps to equal a decent frag?
How long a piece for a frag of the digitatas?

That is a nice pink zoa man.. :) .. Most of my zoa frag has around 10 polyps. I have couple that are 4-5 polyps and they are pretty darn small :D .. Try to shot for 5 polyps that would be much better IMO.

I have a nice rock of zoas with pink centers but no real color in the skirts, so they are not anything wonderful. But not ugly either. I went to pop off what I thought was a small frag at the top of the rock, and what I think was the original frag came off of it, with about 25 to 30 polyps on it. but the cluster itself is only about an inch and a half square.
Since I have a lot of these zoas still I kept it as is and going to put the whole thing in as a frag.

i try to go for the bigger is better rule for fraging. I would like bigger frags so i try to give bigger frags.

Also depends upon how fast it grows too, for instance if you get 3 polyps of the yellow parazoanthids you shouldn't worry, they should grow quickly :)

I'll probly be fragging the ones on the edges... a lot easier and have really NEVER fragged zoo's before.

As for the Montia caps is an inch to inch 1/2 piece good enough?

For the candy cane, I already have 4-6 heads that broke off accidentally.

I am taking the same exact candy cane, I cut off three heads for my friend, and another piece with two heads broke off, so I figured , "Oh well, frag swap goodies" so I mounted it and set it aside, it is three heads now.
