I am planning on buying the tunze 6065 i was wondering is this pump a plug and play or i need to buy something else to operate them(transformer)?

It is a plug and play pump, 115V for the US model, 230V for all others. Please note that it cannot be be controlled by a controller or wavemaker.

Well i decided to go with controllables. Do you think its a good idea having two 6105's on a 90g sps dominated tank? Im planning on upgrading in about a year or so. Also the 6105's comes with two 7091 controllers. Do i need to buy something else to operate these pumps? My friend never opened the box and never tried tunze also.

Two pumps running at the same time is too much for a 90gallon. I would get the 7095 or 7096 controller so you can set only one to run at a time and use them on 12V. This should be a good set up and will work on a tank 2 times the size at 18V and with different controller settings.

What would you consider for a 90g. just to let you know in about 1-1.5years from now im going to be upgrading and dont want to keep on buying pumps.

mine is a 100gallon tank ( 4x2x2 ft rectangular ) tank and i am using 2x 6105 with a 7096 multicontroller.

l tried using 6055 and it is not strong at all . I would strongly agree to use 6105

I think the 6105's are the best option but I would use them at 12V and using only one pump at a time in Interval mode on a 7095 or 7096. When you get a larger tank you can use them at 18V and use another mode to increase flow.
