Question about where to buy a bulb

We set the tank up last night, and when we went to turn the lights on, the daylight didnt work. We put the actinic bulb where the daylight one was to make sure it wasnt the socket or something, but the socket is fine. So yeah, we need a bulb. It is the 36 watt.

Jason, we got that 29 gallon cube that Joe was selling. :)
 
hey try to install the 10k again and see what happens. i just did some research online and found that people where having problems with the 10k bulb. you might have to do it several times. let me know and i'll talk to george
 
I'm not a wizard on lights, etc but I know the biocube's were at one point having issues with the ballasts, could that be the problem here?
 
no they switched the actinic to that ballast and it fired. it's probaly just the connector at the bulb. had that concern in the past with other pc's. if george dosn't have any i'll give you the one out of the other cube

I tried for like 15 minutes and didnt have any luck.
 
disconnect the quick disconnect and turn the power on and then reconnect and see if that works. remember don't touch the terminals. btw it's the one that unscrews
