Question for Typhoon 3 Owners

I am in need of new DI and filters. Do you guys by your replacement filters from air water ice? Have you found some where else cheaper that works the the same? Links would be appreciated.

I always use air water ice... (don't have a Typhoon 3, though).

The cheapest I could find filters is from AWI. I order 2 sets at a time (6 filters total). For DI resin, I don't go through the stuff all that fast so I didn't want to order more than a single cannister's worth at a time. I just ordered some on Saturday from Buckeyefieldsupply because AWI sells only the larger bulk amounts. I think 2 sets of filters was like $30 -- and the single pack of DI resin from Buckeye was $12.

I just replaced my filters. I know which goes first and which goes last but the two in the middle are different but the ones are removed were not marked. I put the one w/o a mark on the right and the one marked as I think 7% on the left. Anybody know what I should have done?

BTW I figured to not break a system that was working and ordered the replacement kit from AWI.

for 2 and 3, use the 5 micron first, and then the 1 micron. For the ones I have, the blue one (blue ends) is 1 micron, and the carbon filter with the white ends is 5 micron.
