AFAIK you are not able to edit a post unless a forum mod or someone changes it but I've never been able to edit my own posts.
You have a one hour window from when you post to click the edit button at the lower right of your post.
We think that if you haven't thought better of what you posted within an hour, you're just going to have to live with it.
If there is some pressing issue that is making you want to edit a post after the window closes, PM a Mod. We're a fairly friendly bunch, and will often help if you ask
