HYDOR EKOMIXO BATTERY OPERATED FISH FEEDER

Anyone used these--it's the electronic model? Any horror stories? Hopefully not. It's the best Petsmart had, and the guys there recommended against the cheaper units. I don't have tank coverage for a few days over t'giving, and same for the holidays, so got to turn to this.

How do those work? I assume you can olnly keep dry food like flake and pellets in there? Need one for my frozen stuff Hmm...I should design one

I think in general you can put in flakes, pellets, and freeze dried stuff, but not sure about this particular model.
