first, thanks for reading and helping.. I have a 46 gallon bowfront.. I had a coralife T5 HO for lights.. it ran one 10k white bulb and one Actinic bulb both at the same time. I currently have some zoas, pipe organ coral and a frog spawn coral.. tank is roughly 6 months old or so..
This weekend I upgraded to two ebay led light fixtures. $165.00 total for both i had to grab them... they have dimmers on them.. i set them up around 14 inches above the tank.. my question is, the dimmer switches dont have numbers so im guessing on what % of white and blue im using.. i am starting out with roughly 30% blue and 5-10% white to acclimate them and will go up weekly.. how do i know if this is enough to even start with? should I start a bit higher on one or both? i dont have a par meter..thank you..
