Question on brain?

So i have had this brain for maybe a month or so(thanks to tinytool, great corals!!!!) it has been doing great but when i had my acro fall on it i think it may have gotten stung as well, since now it is all white in the middle and looks like some of the fleshy stuff is removed exposing what looks like a hard skeleton in the middle of it. it has had this for a couple days now and hasnt really gotten worse, the rest is still bright red and full of life.

any ideas of what i should do or if the brain will be ok.
thanks

It's not going to open up to eat if it's been stung and is dying. I've had a couple of lobos stung, though, and it's always been an isolated injury. If it is still receding I would think there were other problems on top of being stung.

i would try some reef coral dip it may have pick up some kind of infection from being stung. it worked for me when mine got stung
