Hey all,
I think I'm being paranoid, but figure I would check in anyway to make sure I'm not missing anything.
I just installed AI Sol Super Blues on my 75 - 2 of them 12" AWL.
To let everything adjust, I started at:
10:30am - 2:30am W40, B35, R35 Ramp 240
5:30pm - 10:00pm W10, B25, R25 Ramp 240
10:00pm-Lunar, W1, B1, R1
I've had them on for 3 days now and no other corals look upset (bleaching or burning). In fact my maxi-mini's have been flat down on their rocks and appear quite happy (they are in the bottom 1/3 of the tank). I'll be moving the intensity up a little each week of course, but my question is this:
My BTA that used to spread out above the rockwork on the back wall has now withdrawn behind the rockwork in an area I can't see well. His color is good - not whitening, he is not expanded much (tentacles look a little deflated and ropey). The clown continues to be hanging in him.
As I understand, they will move to get to a happy place, right? I mean I don't need to do anything to help him? If the light it too intense he'll move? Which channel of light is most useful to the nem? White I assume.
Thanks in advance.
