Question on replacement magnet

I looked at my second vortech and noticed rust on that one so I'll be sending a request, however, I noticed something different with my original I'm hoping you can assist with.

On the wet side, there is the plastic piece that goes against the glass. The magnet had such a large welt that it actually wore down the plastic completely to the foam piece. Can this cause noise? I'll mention that in my email.

I noticed my vortech making noise. There is a white spacer that goes on the magnet, then the magnet, then the black piece that is the impeller. My other one does not have this piece but instead something different. (newer version maybe). I put the equipment back together like normal but even when I tightened it decent, the black piece feels slightly wobbly and the thing makes alot of noise from vibration. Do I need the white spacer? Or is something else wrong.

I'll send an email about the other issues. Thanks for the quick response and part about the previous issue. Great CS.
