Yes and I do not see how Law enforcement can wear a badge, ours, that they did not earn which is 6 m - 1 year of school, and must keep a C grade average. Their FBI HDS school, started by us, which we gave to the FBI in the late 70's, is 4 wks and no testing or grades. I wonder how they would feel if I took some LE classes for 4 wks, no testing or grades and walked in with their local Police badge on my chest claiming I'm a police officer. But I do respect them for what they do and understand them wanting our badge. Some have chosen not to do that and make up their own badge, use the IABTI badge or HDS badge. Military EOD is now considered Spec-Op's or Special Forces.

As far as I'm concerned, you guys should have been Spec-Op's years ago. You guys worked alongside us for years. Granted, I'm a bit biased towards military training myself. I worked alongside you guys when you had no sleep for a day or two. Doing a better job under those circumstances than they ever will with a full night's rest.

PS We're we talking about Specific Gravity sometime ago? Pleasure talking to you guys on this forum.

Not to get off topic but hey there Central Coast, 5-Cities inhabitant. I live in Grover. Good to see a local around here. I used to work down at Vanderberg not on anything cool though. Mostly dealt with the housing renovation but I did do some survey work out at one of the launch pads, I did a lot of the survey work on slick6 when they had to repair it.

In other words, depths of dispair is Grover Beach? Anyway good to hear from a local. I used to rent a house in Grover myself. I miss the ocean air in Grover.
