Question on Sun Coral

Hello. I have a suncoral that has 2 algea bubbles on it. I am wanting to get them off, but don't want to take the chance of breaking these things in my tank. Is it ok to pull the coral out of the tank for a few minutes, without any damage being done with regard to the coral being exposed to the air?

It will be OK, they are sometimes removed for a feeding in a separate bowl. I did this too, no problems. Try to do that, when polyps are closed.

It'd be safer to put a container down in the tank, put the coral in it, then pull the container out, keeping the coral submerged the whole time.

It may be a good idea to rinse the coral off in a different container of tank water after you remove the bubble algae to try to remove any "juice" from the bubbles before returning it to the tank.
